In 2024, CWA donated $2,500 toward the bridge and tide gate restoration (returning tidal flow) at the Hammock River Marsh in Clinton, CT. The project was in participation with Ducks Unlimited, the town of Clinton, and the CT DEEP.

In 2019, CWA worked with the CT DEEP and other waterfowl organizations to rebuild and enhance the water control structures in the Nehantic State Forest

In 2014, plans were put in place to build and repair a Handicapped Blind structure at Babcock Pond in Colchester for waterfowl hunters in wheel chairs.
