In partnership with the Connecticut Hunter Safety Education Training, CWA provides a "Waterfowl Training Day" to highlight the specific tactics and safety measures for waterfowl hunting. 

New for 2026, CWA is hosting our first "CWA Day" in late August, a cookout, tag sale, and networking opportunity for interested hunters and prospective hunters.  Come for the food, swap equipment, and maybe make a few new friends in the process.

Periodically, CWA will host a "Wood Duck Box Building Day" when either the state, land trusts, or private landowners express a need or interest for new boxes.  If you own or manage wetlands and would like nest boxes to encourage ducks to nest safely, reach out and we will add you to our list of recipients for our next build.
